Tri-Tex Construction, Inc. was thrilled to serve as the selected General Contractor for the recent remodel project at the Arlington campus of the South Texas Vocational Technical Institute (STVT). The project culminated in a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony celebrating the launch of three new skilled trades programs: Electrical, Automotive Service Technician, and Diesel Heavy Truck.

The remodeled training spaces feature expanded and updated classrooms, offices, and newly equipped labs designed to provide students with real-world learning environments from day one. During the event, guests had the opportunity to tour the updated facilities, meet instructors and campus leadership, and learn more about how the programs align with employer needs and industry standards.

STVT’s new Electrical, Automotive Service Technician, and Diesel Heavy Truck programs are designed to prepare students for essential roles in growing industries where skilled professionals are in high demand. The expansion reflects STVT’s continued investment in workforce development and its commitment to strengthening the regional talent pipeline.
